These school photos are unique, in that your child is having a mini professional photo session, not just a school headshot. We work with each student to get natural expressions from pure joy to sweet and pensive, capturing your child's personality. So don't worry about trying to coach your child to practice smiling, as that actually goes against trying to get those sweet natural expressions. These photos are high quality, and digital files purchased can be used for various products such as larger prints, gifts, or canvases.
I am a small business owner, and serve a few select schools in the community. My photographers I bring with me for larger schools are hand picked by me and are amazing!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Most children will have at least 3 different photos in color and black and white, but most often you will find upwards of 10 different images, as we work to caputre different expressions, and have so much fun doing so!
NO forms to fill out, and no choosing a photo package before you see your photos! You will have access to our child's photos online. You can sign into the Photoday website ahead of time and you will receive auto text messages when the gallery is ready for you; one less thing to remember to do during the busy school days! Watch for an email from Photoday with picture day info and access code, or for some schools, you will pick up your printed photo day info sheet at school.
HOW DO I VIEW MY PHOTOS
About a week after picture day you will receive another email, or access code printed sheet to be picked up (for some schools if you haven't done so already), letting you know photos are ready. You can view and purchase images through the gallery, and print orders will ship to you. You can share your gallery log in with other family and friends, they can help you decide on favorite photos!
WHAT TO WEAR
Let their personality shine through in clothing choices. However, I do strongly advise no graphics or images on shirts as they get cut off in the photos and can be a distraction.
Neutral colors always are safe, but let your child shine in their outfits, and fun accessories such hats, suspenders, bows and bowties, and flower head bands, and even their special lovey, are all welcome! We will do what we can to caputre this short and special time of life where their personalities are blooming!
